1. Ken Roberts is no saint.
2. He is trashed often by "ignorant = do not know the facts" people.
3. This argument about calling the CBOT and getting the free packet is
nonsense. The people he introduces to Trading have never heard of the CBOT,
never heard of trading, and think futures has to do with astrology (which in
some ways it very well may, but that is another story). Why should he spend
his money to tell people that they can get free info from the CBOT, which is
probably dry for the average ignorant joe.
4. Ken Roberts does not just offer info - he offers a course, demystifying
futures, leverage etc., and a very basic methodology to actually trade.
5. The flyleaf of his book has the following "important notice"
"The very day I began writing this manual it was out-of-date. The business
opportunities it will teach you to identify and watch for change day by
day.... And that's precisely the reason this is not simply a book by itself;

Forbes article - is opinion, devoured by the masses, the same ones who bought
the tulips, buy and hold, refuse to take profits because they do not want to
pay Capital gains, who are so self righteous about their "conservative"
investing. They are the true gamblers, greedy - and quite willing to blame
someone when things go bad, write to newspapers saying "the government should
do something about it", and present old ladies on "20/20" who were "prey to
those sharks", and blame Ken Roberts for losing money in the markets.
