Wiley, I don't know how much this will help you, about Jeff Cooper's
book , I followed
Daytraders for about 6 months so when I purchased Jeff's book, it help
me to understand some of what he taught. I do not trade his techniques
because I am presently studying
and trading some futures, but one thing I do think would be required
to follow his teachings is to have fast executions, Real Time and level
II quotes, and probably more
important than those, be a pretty good trader. I would if possible
talk to others who have
used the techniques first. I myself am realizing that a lot of
trading techniques that were
used in the past, belong in the past and may not work so well in todays
market. Wish I
could offer you more, but if at some time you decide to purchase the
book, I have a new
one that I would let you have cheaper as I don't want to be that involved
in trading. Good
luck.

Neal,
I just wanted to thank you for your post and the other RT's
that participated in the thread for that mater. It would seem that this
topic as been fairly well addressed. I know this much, it is easy to fool
oneself when looking at the amount of time before expiration. What seems to
be a month and a half may be only about 30 trading days and decay is ever
increasing. Thus I find it useful to consider trading days. It's one of
those "it works for me" type of things. Timing is everything in trading and
option timing even more so.

Best Regards,
Brent
