NW: Bill, unfortunately Presidents Washington and Lincoln have been stripped of
their status of having their own Federal Holiday. Now the only ones with their
own personal Federal holiday are Jesus (Christmas) and Martin Luther King, jr.
Lincoln's birthday is still observed as a state holiday in a few states such as
Lincoln's home state of Illinois. But future generations of American school kids
will have a lower awareness of two of our greatest presidents due to a lack of
observation of their birthdays. Fortunately, even though it is not named for me,
I have arrange for a Federal holiday near my birthday in February, called
Presidents Day.
Enjoy,
Norman

NW: No, observation of Flag Day is now flagging.
