This is my first post and I hope it works.
Record high for the S&P500 yesterday. Not sure, but it is likely that it will
drop below the record high sometime in the future. We can buy puts.
How much would a Jun put at strike price of 1025 be?
If the S&P drops one point from 1000 to 999, what would be a rough guess of
the prifit on this put?
If the S&P drops 10 points, profit =?
The questions may sound too stupid, but I am new at this.
(So is my broker, he could not answer me).
