Below are the results of our weekly "Guess the Dow" sentiment survey. The
survey was taken from 1/12 through 1/18 on our web site.
Number of participants: 334
30 day outlook:
41% bullish, 60% last week
29% bearish, 23% last week
29% neutral, 18% last week
(percentages may not sum to 100 due to rounding)
Median guess for the DJIA closing value on Friday, 1/30: 7801 (it was
7325 last week). More complete sentiment data is available at

Bullish sentiment declined from 60% to 41%, while bearish sentiment picked
up 6% to end at 29%. The neutral camp jumped from 18% to 29%. Last weeks
rise bearish turn is not surprising given the poor week that stocks turned
in.
