hi ,
i believe primerica was the old continental can or american can company,it was
bought by gerry tasai(probably spelled wrong), he then turned it into a financial
company, bought several regional brokerage houses and then smith
barney......(which had been private up to that time).........he later sold it to
sandy weile(bad spelling again), who went on to acquire shearson, travelers, and
salomon bros..............i did not know primerica still existed as an entity.
