Jeff ,

I use Ameritrade now by default. They are a result of a recent merger of
three other brokerage firms. When the firm was originally Aulfhauser, the
executions were quite quick. Now, with Ameritrade they've slowed down quite
a bit. We're talking a few minutes to place and confirm most equity trades.
I would suggest Pacific Brokerage, now Dreyfus for MUCH faster executions.
By the time I confirm a particular equity order and click the "Trade
Summary" icon, it's done. Five seconds! Most of the time. A few time the web
site was not functioning, and I simply called a broker. Order executions
were very tough on 10/28, as it was with most brokerage firms.

Good Luck,

David Chan
