Hi RT's.
I just started reading "Living the Dream by Profitably Day Trading
Stock Futures" by Gary Smith. In the first chapter he says he does not own a
computer and gets all his trading data from the CNCB ticker (talk about eye
strain)!
His main system, called the bounce-from-the-low method, as described in
subsequent chapters, is basically the following:
After the S&P forms an interday bottom and moves up 180-200 pts he buys. He
uses a 200 pt trailing stop to close out the trade (I think he also exits on
market close). He never buys in the first 50 min. of trading to allow market
to establish a trend, and never buys after 12 noon EST, to little time left
till close for market to make move (also gives you many afternoons off). To
trade the short side reverse the rules. He seems to have an excelent track
record using this method.
The question is: Has anyone worked with his system and should I sell
my computer?
Good luck and good trading,
