Psych: discipline, self-knowledge, deception

   Here's a site I came across today that has some valuable insights into
the psychology of trading - especially since it references various means of
deception and self-deception that seem to be rampant in the trading industry.

   This has some good info on "psycho-manipulation" which is clearer than
most other info on this topic because it is dealing, in part, with how
people very deliberately psychologically cheat at a high-stakes money game
(i.e. poker, but applicable to trading.)

   There are also some good insights into how to win at the game through
the application of honest discipline and psychological self-knowledge. Very
valuable for poker, trading or life - especially since it goes almost
entirely against the grain of our current (sleeping, self-deluded and
unconscious) culture - and therefore in the opposite direction of the
supposed 90% of losers in the trading game.

   I wouldn't be surprised if some people on this list were using
techniques such as these - perhaps even on this list!
