Have your current broker transfer directly from your Vision account to your
preferred account. Your broker can send you a form for this. That way you
can have the back office of your preferred broker contact Vision's back
office and the jerks you are dealing with are out of the equation. There is
a maximum amount of time a firm is allowed to comply with such a request. I
believe it's three days.
