I hold a similar view of VantagePoint.  It was my first purchase of trading
software.  Looking for the easy way to make money I suppose.  I lost the
initial investment and some cash on trades.  Perhaps it is my eternal
optimism but I am still interested in using TradeStation to test/develop a
set of trading rules to make VP workable.  This approach is recommended by
Mendelsohn in his documentation.  

Bottom line - approach with caution and don't expect VP by itself to
produce profitable trading signals.
