Here's another very interesting site re the Y2K problem:

This is from the home page of Edward Yourdon, who is a very well-known
computer programming expert.  If you go down to your local Barnes &
Noble you can find a number of books by him in the computer section.
See below for a list.

The above website is a 1st/2nd draft of a book he's writing that's going
to be published next spring.  It's gives a detailed viewpoint of all of
the Y2K problems and their possible ramifications (and some are quite
scary).

And the thing that's disturbing is that this guy is no lunatic fringe
weird-o.  He's very well-respected in the information technology world
(at least as far as I know! :)  ).
