Don Green:

As with many things in life, one cannot make too many assumptions. Many of
us do not have the trading experience nor skill that you seem to possess.
Newbies, wannabes,,,whatever classification or pigeonhole you want to place
us.

I enjoy your posts and your thinking involving your trade decisions, but, no,
I didn't understand what "a short-term bounce prior to earnings release" was.
I could kinda guess, but if you'd tell me just once, I'd know for sure what
you meant. There's no need to abrade us, get sarcastic nor pick up your
marbles to run off and play someplace else, because we're not in your league.
Some are and some are not !!

I would like to learn and when you have the time, if you would just detail
your thinking a bit more, I would appreciate it~~just don't assume we know
what your terminology means. Teach us how to "count the cards". It's a
novelty to study someone who trades using only AOL, CNBC, and their 'gut'
instincts, rather than the bevy of charts, indicators, etc. that typically
boggles the mind. I'm not even sure I've mastered how to respond to the
forum at-large, as opposed to you, personally. All you have to do is explain
it courteously; bet I could catch on.

I have a couple of questions to ask. I hope you'll indulge me if they've
previously been asked, as the E-Mail on AOL is, at best, erratic, and I
frequently see replies made to E-Mails I've never received in the first
place. 1) Do you have a particular list of stocks that you track or
monitor, that you've made a point to know their cycles/behavior under certain
conditions, such as earnings reports or a calamitous day like today,,,,or 2)
do you take the condition, such as today, and look for a stock that would
make a good play? 3) How do you choose the stock, or narrow it down to one
stock? 4) what conditions or stocks warrant the short side; how do you
determine that? 5) am I correct in saying you do NOT have a real-time quote
service, other than AOL and CNBC ? If that is so, how do you track the
stock's movement with any degree of certainty and timeliness?

Too many questions, I know, but I have more for another time. Thank you in
advance for your timely and gracious responses.
