actually dishes are available commercially that will allow you to watch tv
while underway. MarSat and InmarSat systems provide secure two way
communications via satelite from almost anywhere on the planet. You can
access e-mail and fax via these services. If you use EOD quotes you could
probably trade long term just fine. The problem with the commercial data
providers is that they use their own satelites. The ones DSS uses do not
have the error correcting technology that is necessary to broadcast live
quotes. Keep looking, you should be able to make it work. Hope this helps.
