Yes, the bid ask spread is typically that wide in the globex.  If you are seeking fills during the evening for currencies, I would suggest using the EFP (exchange for physical) market.  The spread is much more narrow and there is greater liquidity.  Your fills will be much better.

Hi Realtraders,

Looks like the Globex markets like currencies, E Mini were all illiquid to
daytrade.  And also the bid/ask prices were too wide say for the D. Mark
its 0.5730 against 0.5741.  its goint to be normal to see +5 -8 +6 etc...

Am I correct?

Would anybody like to comment?
