Realtraders,
Over the last day and a half there has been a lot of discussion regarding
the posting of individual trades to the Realtrader's forum. I would just
like to make some comments regarding this issue followed by some suggestions.
To begin, I would like to say, "Good trade Don, glad you made some
money". Second, I hope you don't hibernate in a cave, if you and others
did, this forum would probably die.
Now for the suggestions. As we all know, this forum was intended to be
informative and educational in nature. As such, those of us who send a
message to the forum should obviously keep this in mind. With over a
thousand members, if just 1/3 of us sent a daily trade to the group, we/you
would be overwhelmed with over 300 emails a day. This applies to stocks,
futures or option traders.
Therefore, it is in the best interest of this forum and its members, that
those who post a trade to the group INCLUDE SOME FORM OF ANALYSIS OR
EXPLANATION. This could be technical, fundamental, classical, gut (but you
must include some reasoning) or any other means of analysis and it doesn't
have to be long, just a few sentences. Please remember, the purpose of
such a request is to maintain the integrity of the forum, while providing
informative and educational information to your fellow members.
Personally, I encourage greater postings of specific trades to the group,
as long as you include some form of 'analysis', it would, in my opinion,
really add some "value" to a majority of its members.
