You can trade futures or day trade anything by setting up an independent
trust agreement with a third party. The one I know about is In Trust in
Chicago. You can inquire at 708-873-5300.
They will hold 35% of your total account in liquad assets in the trust and
deposit the balance in the trading account of your choice. The account is set
up in their name as trustee with you having trading authority. The minimum
account size my broker would consider is 35000.
