NW: Gann was not known for getting along with his family. He and his son
had a major split about 1950. I wonder if he couldn't or wouldn't
support his family. As for his estate, the value was $150,000 in about
1955 which would be equivalent to about $5 million in today's money. Not
bad for a poor farm boy from Texas. And that is just the money that he
left for the officials to see. Regardless of his trading ability, if
anyone takes a serious look at this market techniques, one must come
away with a respect for his insight into the workings of the market. One
must realize that trading and market analysis are two distinct talents
and are not necessarily found in the same individual.
So, how much money has Dr. Elder made from his trading and how much
has
he made from selling his books and courses? I seem to see Dr. Elder's
advertising just about everywhere. Trading not going so well? <G>
