CME Group Fee-Waived Globex Data
We have partnered with a number of brokers and the CME to waive the normal
CME Globex exchange fees (broker fees may still apply) as long as all of the
following requirements are met:
1. Open (or have) a funded account with one of the broker partners listed
below.
2. Download and run the latest version of eSignal (version 10.5 and newer).
3. Download and use the broker plug-in to to connect to your brokerage
account via the eSignal Trade Manager within 1 week.
4. Contact Client Services or log on to Account Maintenance to add the
service to your account.
5. Log-in using the broker plug-in at least once a month.
Which Brokers are approved for use with the CME Group Fee-Waived Globex
package? You must have a funded account with one of the following
brokers/trading service providers and log in on a regular basis: Dorman
Trading, Interactive Brokers (IB), MB Trading, Peregrine Financial Group
(PFG BEST), Mirus/Zen-Fire, optionsXpress, Infinity and Transact (Coming
Soon: Patsystems, MF Global,). If you have a suggestion as to other brokers

What is included with the CME Group Fee-Waived Globex package? This package
includes any futures that are Globex traded (that is, they can be
electronically traded) on the CME, CBOT, NYMEX and COMEX. (Note: Currently
there is no standalone COMEX Globex service as this data is included in the
full COMEX exchange). For a complete list of included symbols, visit our
Symbol Guide or use the Symbol Search window to filter results by exchange
(CBOT Globex, CME Globex, COMEX Globex, NYMEX Globex).
Can I continue to use my trading application or do I have to use eSignal to
send trades to my broker?
You have the flexibility to use either. You just need to establish the
requirements listed above and then as least once a month, make sure you've
connected to your broker via the eSignal broker plug-in. That's how we
verify you are still entitled to the fee waiver. Aside from that, you are
free to use any application to send trades to your broker.
What if I already subscribe to the CBOT Mini, NYMEX MiNY and CME E-mini
exchanges? If you have an existing subscription to any of these services,
the CME Fee-Waived Globex package cannot be added until the individual
service has been removed. Any individual subscriptions to the CBOT Mini,
NYMEX MiNY, and CME E-mini must be cancelled prior to adding the CME
Fee-Waived Globex package.
What if I'm currently subscribing to one of the full exchange packages (CME,
CBOT, COMX or NYMEX) but would like to get the other CME Group Globex
exchanges added? That's no problem. You can just add the bundle and the
services in that bundle that are not already entitled, will get added.
You'll simply continue to pay the exchange fee for the full service you keep
(i.e. CME, CBOT, COMX or NYMEX).
What if i'm NOT currently subscribing to any of these Futures markets. Can I
still add this new bundle? Sure. As long as you meet the eligibility
criteria.
How do I add this new bundle to my account? You can simply log onto Account
Maintenance and add the bundle directly to your account.
Is Globex Depth data included in this bundle? In most cases, you'll be
getting depth from your broker and that data will populate in our DOM
display w/in the Trade Manager window. Otherwise, depth data is not
initially included in our Globex package so the standard Market Depth window
will not populate. We may add depth to our offering at some point but we're
initially only providing level 1 Globex data as a part of this package.
What if I want to cancel a full exchange package (CME, CBOT, COMX or NYMEX)
and switch to the fee-waived CME Globex package? In this case, you simply
need to cancel that exchange and add the new fee-waived bundle. The
cancellation will take effect as of your billing cycle but the new bundle
will get added immediately.
Do I have to be living in the US to qualify? No, not nec. You simply must be
able to have a funded account with one of the approved brokers and then meet
the other requirements (use 10.5 and log-in via eSignal's trade integration
and the broker plug-in).
What if I fail to log-in via eSignal's trade integration or switch to a
broker that's not on your supported broker list? If you don't meet the
eligibility requirements to have the fee-waived services, we are obligated
to cancel the fee-waived CME Globex bundle from your account as of your next
billing cycle. Your other services/exchanges will remain active.
What if I'm currently using an eSignal Data Manager only service? Can I add
this fee-waiver? Since part of the requirement of this program is to verify
access to your brokerage account via eSignal's Trade Manager and since our
DM only offerings don't give access to the eSignal application, the
fee-waiver services can not be added to Data Manager only acounts. It's
quite possible you'll be able to save money by upgrading to our Premier
service and then adding the fee-waiver bundle. Please contact Sales or
Customer Service for more information.
Are there any functions or features that aren't available if I have the
Globex Only pkg?
In general, no. One exception to that rule is with Forward/Yield Curve
charts. Since we use the underlying root symbol to build that chart type
(and not session specific symbols), you won't be able to get a Forward chart
for any symbol that you can't pull a quote for the root symbol itself (CL #F
for ex).
Is the fee-waiver available for Pro Subscribers? No, you must be a
non-professional subscriber to qualify for this program.
I'm currently subscribing to eSignal EOD. Can I add the fee-waiver bundle?
The CME Globex fee-waiver bundle is considered a real-time add-on so it's
only eligible to add to eSignal real-time accounts (the lone exception being
the ability to add the CME emini fee-waiver to our OnDemand service. Click
here for more on our eSignal OnDemand - Mini Futures product).
What's the catch? Seems too good to be true. No catch. We worked extensively
to improve our trade integration, developed a solid reporting mechanism and
worked closely with the CME Group to be able to offer Globex data on a
fee-waived basis for our customers. This is the same program that has been
available to futures brokers for years so we're delighted to be able to
offer it to our direct customers as well now. You simply need to fit the
eligibility criteria to qualify.
