Hello Gary,
>From the GlobalServer under Tools - Edit Symbol Dictionary you can
modify the exchange times to get it to plot the times correctly but
then your chart Sess1StartTime Sess1StartTime etc. won't be correct.
With ascii the only way to have it all correct is to leave the
exchange times alone and each time you plot a new symbol, manually
enter the correct session start and end times.
On my machine I manually enter the same times that are already in the
Symbol Dictionary but when plotting TS offsets the times by 1 hr. and
I can't find any setting that will remedy that.

GF> Hi all,
GF> I'm dusting off my old TS2000i to experiment with a few forex ideas, and
GF> it's been so long since I've used it that I seem to have forgotten a few
GF> things!!
GF> I'm just feeding it ASCII data -- 1min bars running from 0000 to 2359.
GF> (The ASCII-file support is even flakier than I remember. I've crashed
GF> it 6 times in the last 2 hours...)
GF> Before I set up GS, I just ran TS and pointed it at the ASCII file. I
GF> tried to set the session times to 00:00am - 11:59pm, but TS keeps
GF> setting the session-start time to 1:00pm! (Or sometimes 1:00am, but I
GF> don't know why it changes??) Does it think the data is in GMT or
GF> something? I tried setting the "Offset to Datafeed Time" in Desktop
GF> Options but that didn't change anything.
GF> Then I remembered I could set up symbols in GS and I wouldn't have to
GF> enter the tick size &etc every time. So I set up GS and created a
GF> EURUSD symbol in the FOREX exchange. But I can't get TS to see it. If
GF> I enter the symbol & exchange in the symbol "Settings" dialog, it
GF> doesn't recognize the EURUSD symbol. If I set the exchange to FOREX and
GF> search for *, it doesn't return any symbols. What am I doing wrong?
GF> On another subject: has anyone cobbled together a hack to do decent
GF> portfolio testing in TS2000i? I could dump out the equity curve for
GF> each symbol and just add them together, but that doesn't account for
GF> profits from other symbols, so the position sizing is wrong. Any
GF> suggestions?
GF> Thanks,
GF> Gary
