I think the initial reaction was positive. Look at the ES 8:14 CDT bar. It
took folks a few minutes to decide that this was actually bad news.

The Bear Stearns news came out at 917 EST this morning, but the market
didn't respond until 923 EST. Can anyone here tell me why it took the
market 6 minutes to digest and evaluate this news? Or direct me to any
blogs where they discuss this soft of thing?
