Hi DB
You said it would be OK to e-mail you directly on this. I've been unable to
reach you at the e-mail address I have for you. I must have the wrong
address. Here's a copy of what I sent hoping that you're following this
list.
Thanks again,
Michael

Hi DB
Thank you for your follow up. You have always been there for us over the
years. I do have a real time account with eSignal. I have Windows firewall
turned off. I use Kaspersky Internet Security for my firewall and have
inserted Dynaloader into it's "Trusted" zone which disables any access
restrictions that Dynaloader may have. When I installed Dynaloader on this
new operating system, I did transfer over my "saved selections" from my
previous install that were saved on a portable hard drive. I don't know if
that could have caused any problems. The error message I get from
Dynaloader is: Error#-114: Error_Winsock.

Thanks you so much,
Michael Maldonado

Michael,

Yes, it works under XP and even under Vista :-)

The "CM*.esignal.com" is correct setting. if you have real-time (not
delayed) account with eSignal.
Do you have any error message from Dynaloader? Maybe it is not allowed to
connect to the Internet by Windows Firewall?

You can email me directly and I will help you with this.

DB

Hi group. I just upgraded my machine to Windows XP. Unfortunately, I
 had to
reload all of my trading programs. It took some time, but a clean
 install is
a good thing. I was able to load everything correctly except for
 Dynaloader
for eSignal. It loaded on to my machine just fine, but won't connect to
 the
eSignal server. The server name in advanced settings is CM*.esignal.com
 Is
this the correct setting? It's been a long time since I've had to
 reload
this program. Is it not Windows XP compatible? I still use this for
collecting data for 2000i. It's a great tool and I'd like to continue
 using
it. Thanks in advance for your help.
