I live in Italy and cantell you some about this:
1) European trades mostly European and domestic stocks,
2) They need European data that are mostly not supported (making necessary
an additional platform cost),
3) TS8 will become very expensive because interested in US stocks only in
part and so no rebate on the platform cost.
If you consider all these together will understand why we still use TS2K and
it will be like this until TS will decide to do these improvements.

I suspect that is true but the market for add-ons to that market segment has
got to be pretty small.
I thought TS 8 was now available in Europe but don't know for sure.
