If you really, really care. For example, if you're charging 1,000s for
your work, .dlls aren't a great answer either. They can be disassembled
easily and then reverse engineered. No need to worry about your basic TS
user. But a hedge fund may find the process cost effective. If it really
matters obfuscation and encryption technologies should be used too.

I don't think so. Maybe the TS8 ELDs are tougher to crack. As
far as I'm concerned, the moment a strategy is released it becomes
visible to the world, effectively, because a determined person will
figure out how to crack it.
The most secure way is to write key calculations of your strategy in
a compiled DLL, and distribute that.
