However, between a group of known users, 2 of us have been using w2000 and getting solid,
stable performance compared to others running faster cpu's etc on XP. It seems many XP users are
getting high % cpu utilisation and more.

With the data load coming from the ASX increasing, my P3 with w2000 slows down abit sometimes during
the mkt open & close, but doesn't crash.

After googling for some time, it seems I found my answer in these white papers;
Intel® Core? Microarchitecture, quoting;

        Microsoft Windows Vista?
        Microsoft Windows Server 2003
        Microsoft Windows XP
