Do you guys really need ZA or Norton? The Windows XP Firewall uses ZA
technology but it seems much less prone to problems. It only looks at
incoming traffic, not outgoing traffic, but I don't see that as a big
problem as long as you keep your computer free of viruses and spyware.
And, of course, if you use a properly configured hardware
router/firewall, you don't need any of these software firewalls. Use the
"DMZ" feature to route any outside requests to a nonexistent computer
address and you'll be "full stealth" on all ports -- about as good as it
gets.
