New XP Install of TS2K won't load?

I just bought a new Compaq laptop with Win XP Home SP2.

The Laptop has an AMD Sempron 3200+ processor and 500meg memory.

I did a clean install from my TS 2000i SP5 disk.

When I double clicked on the TS Icon, The hour glass appeared like TS
was going to load but then disappeared and TS did not load.  When I
double clicked on the EasyLanguage Power Editor, it comes right up
with no problems.  If in the PowerEditor, I double click on the TS
Icon nothing happens.  If I go to Start->programs=>Omega
Research->TradeStation and click nothing happens.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled but still have the same problem.

Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

I seem to remember way way back that some MS Dcom? software had to be installed.

I don't have any problems on my Desktop XP Pro because I upgraded from
Win98 and everything was working on Win98.

Any help would be much appreciated.
