I am sure this is not what you want to hear but Get a real Internet
connection and Data supplier. This is a business, when you attempt take
shortcuts you pay the price in other ways.

Folks, here's the mystery:
Several times weekly and perhaps only when a telephone-ISP disconnect
occurs TWS will forget to restart getting data for one or more contracts.
Today, for example, the telephone connection to the ISP was interrupted
for two minutes prior to the regular open. Upon restoring of the
connection TWS was automatically restarted (by the TWSStart utility)and
logged on to IB. However, only the ER2 contract data flow was restored.
The YM row in TWS contained no data to the right of the contract

When I saw this I restarted TWS and the YM and ER2 data flow was restored.
This appears to be a problem unchanged by switching to the latest
version of TWS and Java 1.5.
Ideas warmly welcomed.
