This is how I do what I think you want.
I am using TS2000i.
1) Create a new TS chart window with the first symbol. Go into the "Format
Symbol" and into "Properties" and set the subgraph to hidden (unless you
want to see the 2 symbols you are using)
2) Go to the "Insert" menu and select "Symbol" and repeat step 1 above for
the second symbol (also have it hidden)
3) Create an indicator with the following:
plot1(h of data1 - h of data2);
plot2(l of data1 - l of data2);
4) Apply this indicator to your chart (which will be blank before you apply
the indicator)
5) Go into "Format" menu, select "Analysis Techniques", click the indicator
you created in (3) above, select "Format", then the "Style" window. Click
Plot1 and in the "Type" drop down menu select "Bar Hi". Similarly repeat
for Plot2 but select "Bar Lo"
Hopefully this is what you wanted
Regards
Brian

Subject: SP/NAS Spread
I am aware that you may enter two symbols in a chart, and have a line
in an indicator window that will reflect the difference in a separate
subgraph.
How would you be able to create the "spread" as a single "symbol"
allowing you to apply your indicators to it?
Or is there an Esignal 'symbol' for the 'already calculated' spread, that
you
may collect as a 'symbol' to run your studies on?
Thanks,
Marc
