Robert,

8.1 is still in the growing pain stage. I love it because I converted a
zillion trendlines into plots, but it does have issues - mostly speed
related -  that have been documented by many on the ts list.

I have always had a few verify errors on installing a new version, but when
I looked at them, they were duplicate functions or otherwise did not matter.
Also, I found a verify bug whereby I could delete a plot, yet it would still
show up. So ther e may be other editor related stuff too.
