The only thing I did was to turn off the Quality Of Service (QOS) support in
the TCPIP window. Essentially what QOS does is to reduce the available
Internet bandwidth, and reserve some of the bandwidth for things like Voice
over IP (VOIP) usage. Not something I really want in a trading computer!
Let me also suggest you buy a hardware firewall/router. It will provide
additional protection for your hardware at a very low cost.
