It should only go off after the cross. From there it depends on your
machine and data feed. I never use alarms. They keep going off and
drive me nuts. They lag the actual event and can lag a bunch. They
also slow your machine down unless you have a Cray or at least a 2 or
3 ghz machine. Well maybe that is streching it. Also I never open
the tracking center. Talk about a resource hog. The alarm will also
go off each time the lines cross unless it is setup to only aleart
after the close of the bar instead of each tick.

I paid a guy to write some easy language code so that an alrm would go
off if a Moving Average was crossed from above or below. It doesn't work
at all - the alrams seem to go off randomly - certainly never when
they're supposed to!
He says the code is perfect and it must be some conflict in my
computer........
Is TS really so bad that you can't even get womething like that to work/
