Performance report problem TS2000i and Metastock data

Thanks to all those who helped with my ASCII data performance report problem
- it is now sorted.

I also have a problem getting performance reports with Metastock data using
TS2000i.

I have data on all New Zealand stocks dating back to 1996 in Metastock
format.  Each night my data provider sends EOD data on all NZ stocks in
ASCII format and I use the Equis program "The Downloader" to add this data
to the Metastock format history.

My problem is when I chart this Metastock data in TS the performance reports
correctly pick trades as profits or losses, but have no profit/loss $$
numbers so the reports are useless.  I assume this is because TS is not
picking up the point value.

I have not been using the Global Server with TS so tried playing around with
it to see if I could somehow set the point value, but had no success.

Is there a way to flag to TS what the point value is for Metastock format
data?  Should I be using Global Server?
