Trading the Equity Curve

Is there a free software tool that can simulate trading results based on equity curve trading ?

What is the way to do such simulation in Easylanguage ? One method is to write two paralell sets of code, one to capture the trading signals and the second - the actual to tarde based on the equity captured by the signals.

Is there a simpler or easier way ?
