Of the 3 major indices, I see the ES or SP as the tweener. It is
composed of
elements that you will find on both the Dow and the Nasdaq.
During some periods throughout the day the indices get out of sync. For
example
the NQ may be drifting lower while the Dow is at it's highs for the day.
The ES
sometimes pauses until it sees signs of a weakening of the Dow or a
turnaround
in the NQ. I don't truly know the answer but I assume that the mass
money does
not commit until it determines direction.
