Jimmy> I've check it with Quote.com, Tradestation 8 and ADVFN. Quote.com shows
Jimmy> the $NDX as from the CBOE, TS 8 shows it's from the Nasdaq Marketplace
Jimmy> while ADVFN shows it's from the CME. Does anyone know from which
Jimmy> exchange its truely from so I can change the settings in the Global
Jimmy> Server for TS2ki? This is creating havoc in my trading system.
Jimmy> I've been on the direct CME feed (such as it was), NDX is not present.
Jimmy> The NASDAQ website has the information on how it is calculated and
Jimmy> states that the calculation is performed every 15 seconds. I don't
Jimmy> know why CBOE would calculate such an index.
According to DTN IQFEED support:
"Posted: Yesterday @ 10:44 AM
The problem is caused by the start of a new index on the ISE with the
NDX symbology. The IQ symbol NDX.X is currently being updated by both
sources, NASDAQ and ISE. We have a fix, ISE indexes will start
carrying the suffix .XI starting this evening after market close. We
will also make every attempt to correct the historical data for the
NDX.X."
