Went into Omega.ini and changed all drive references to the second
drive, as well as or_serve.ini and tstation.ini.
Installed TS40 onto second drive over the copied installation, just to
be sure.
TS40 from the second drive starts and runs, but still appears to need to
reference something on the first drive in the Omega file. I changed the
filename of Omega on the first drive to 1Omega, to block any reference
to the first drive, and ran TS40 from the second drive. Seems to plot
and collect data fine. The global Server was churning out the
following "CTREE error: LTEREC (26) filenumber not active DUMP: file
0, isam_file 0, isam_err 26, uerr_cod 26, sysicod 3
(c:\SRC\or_serv\server40\price.C-line 206), for over one hour.
Seems that it was trying to store the tick data in the portfolio of the
first drive, but could not until I changed the first drive's Omega name
back to its original recognized name. I cannot understand why the first
drive is still required, apparently for data storage? Any ideas other
than deleting the second drive software and reinstalling all again? Is
there another file reference for the global server somewhere else?
Thanks,
Joe
