Overview =====
This software allows running trading systems (aka strategies) in
RadarScreen, and takes advantage of the speed and sorting facilities provided by
RadarScreen. Doing so, you will be able to run the same or different strategies
over one or several RadarScreen windows (where every RadarScreen row will behave
like a TradeStation chart running the considered strategy). Moreover, you will
be able to sort, select or unselect specifics RadarScreen lines and display the
result of the aggregate portfolio.
The performance summary of the selected portfolios are displayed in a specific
Window (Portfolio Viewer) that can be embedded in or external to TradeStation.
Individual performance summary is also available in the Portfolio Viewer.
It replaces most of the portfolio evaluation software and avoids cumbersome
export of data from a TradeStation Chart or TradeStation Performance summary to
an external application.
Here, all the calculations are done in RadarScreen and the Portfolio results are
available directly in a specific linked window.
Because RadarScreen was designed as a scanning tool based on indicators, we have
provided a translation of Easy Language strategies into a RadarScreen Indicator
compliant scheme.
And for ending, we provide a tool that allows to run the strategy fired from
RadarScreen into a tick chart.
Doing so, you will be able to run stop limit orders what is currently impossible
to do with TradeStation alone ( stop order fired in RadarScreen, then the
execution will occur in a linked tick chart at the entry price provided by
RadarScreen, but with a limit price execution).
The possibilities are numerous, because you may do anything you want in the Tick
chart strategy that receives the RadarScreen orders.
In a nutshell, The Portfolio management suite is a RadarScreen utility able to
run several trading systems over hundreds of symbols, replace a portfolio
evaluation software without the need of exporting data files, and allows special
trade executions in TradeStation.
Main Features:
Several systems allowed, several RadarScreen windows too.
Several time frames allowed
Several subportfolios allowed and customizable from RadarScreen.
MOC, stop, limit, Next Open orders available.
Cost and slippage deducted.
May use UMDD in calculations ( updated maximum Drawdoown)
The selected stocks will have a small blue mark in the top of each rightmost
cell (mouse selection).
The performance summary, Equity curve are now displayed in the portfolio window.
You may deselect or reselect in RS (using the Alert menu).
Just unselect the alert to remove the considered stocks from the portfolio.
The changes are automatically updated in the portfolio window.
The Portfolio has a contextual menu (right click on the portfolio chart)
The portfolio charts and the stock list are linked and mouse selectable.
The individual performance summary is available for each stock too (right
column).
Allow to place stop limit orders ( or others) into a linked tick chart
