Dear Alex,
I am writing to feed back on your posting.
I want to suggest you to use HyperServer Lite for Interactive Brokers
(http://www.hypertrader.it/hserverl.shtml) This product is FREE of charge.
You can use it without any limitations on amount of symbols or some others.
It allows to use full DBC Signal emulation when all features of TradeStation
are available and when is configured this option the Omega Symbol Dictionary
is also available. It accepts automatically TWS prompts which normally
requires human confirmation (on incoming connection). It's based on new
version of TWS API (8.0) and support every night maintenance and automatic
reconnection.
Please find information how to configure it below:
Before to Install:
a.. Export symbols from GlobalServer's portfolio into XPO file.
a.. Delete symbols from GlobalServer's portfolio.
Installation and Configuration
1. You have "HyperServer Lite for Interactive Brokers of Omega 2000i
edition" installed on your computer.
2. Open HyperServer's main window (click on proper icon in System tray).
3. To switch DBC Emulation mode on, please do the following:
Follow to "Tools - Options" main menu sequence of HyperServer Lite and
check "DBC Signal subserver emulation" box in the appeared dialog window.
4. Follow to Data Feed leaf of Objects tree.
5. Click on InteractiveBrokers and use Properties... item of pop-up menu.
6. Go on "Data Feed" Tab and verify parameters.
"Login" should be same as you use in TWS.
"Port" is same to proper parameter of TWS by default.
7. Configure TWS. "Enable ActiveX and Socket Clients" item should be
checked.
8. Close HyperServer
9. Start GlobalServer online. This will start HyperServer Lite
automatically. (HyperServer should be a data feed of your GlobalServer).
10. Follow to "Tools - XPO Updater" main menu sequence of HyperServer Lite.
In the appeared window specify the file which was created on the first step
and click OK.
11. Import this XPO file into the portfolio of GlobalServer.
12. Create correct symbols in your GlobalServer portfolio as it's described
in the help. Below provided few examples from there:
a.. Symbol - MSFT, Exchange - 'NASDAQ', Category- Stock.
b.. Symbol - DELL, Exchange - 'NASDAQ', Category- Stock.
c.. Symbol - INDU, Exchange - 'NYSE', Category- Index.
d.. Symbol - BAY, Exchange - 'XETRA', Category- Stock.
e.. Symbol - DAXH4, Exchange - 'EUREX', Category- Future.
f.. Symbol - ESH4, Exchange - 'CME', Category- Future.
g.. Symbol - YMH4, Exchange - 'ECBOT', Category- Future.
13. Shut down both GlobalServer first, and HyperServer after (icon should
disappear from System tray).
14. Start GlobalServer in ONLINE mode. It have to start up HyperServer
automatically.
15. Open HyperServer's main window (click on proper icon in System tray).
16. Follow to Realtime Monitor leaf of Objects tree. If all above steps were
done correctly you should see real-time updates for symbols from
GlobalServer portfolio. Received ticks will be sent to GlobalServer.
