Thanks for the quick help guys!  I appreciate your
repairs doc Jimmy, some very helpful info in there and
I will use that from now on.

Robert, your explaination of the file ID makes sense
because I tried to do a direct import into the GS from
the ASCII file using Hyper Tools and couldnt figure
out why the data wasn't showing up.  The XPO file was
created with Hyper Tools after seeing the direct
import fail, which then led to the error when I tried
to import the file manually.  Is Hyper Tools assigning
this ID?  Is it just a setting that I change in HT
somewhere (I looked all around but didn't see anything
about an ID)?  Before the reinstall I was able to use
the direct import with no problems.

I will try Jimmy's suggestion since my problems
started with the reinstall, but if you can tell me how
to modify the ID then I'll try that too.
