Hello Doug,

You should make sure that your trade station always has power.  You
might consider extended backup power.  There has been some discussion
on this.

I have the modified sine wave solution above.  There seems to be
disagreement whether or not modified sine wave solutions can damage
the electronics.  I use Dell computers and have logged about 48 hours
so far (tests and real power outages) without any problems.

I like the option to add as many standard 12v battaries needed,
depending on the load and the time necessary to cover power outages.
In my case, when the power goes out, it really goes out and stays out
for 4-6 hours.
