Have you looked at www.triggernews.com ?  For $12.95/m you get the use of 25 triggerwords (such as
"SEC") .  You can go to their web site and look in the Support section to find lists of suggested
triggerwords.  They collect news from a number of sources and subscribers get a pop up window for
each news word that is triggered (there are also a number of free triggerwords).  It is very timely
if you want to trade off of news, or be alerted to news for a certain symbol you already own.  When
it gets obnoxious, which it does sometimes, you can turn off the pop up window and just read the
news headlines on your own time.

I just added SEC to the my list...we'll see what it produces.
