Re: Dynastore and Windows 2000?

John,

I'm using Dynastore for QCharts with Windows 2000 with no problems at all.
I feed TS-4 through the serial port to a second Windows 2000 machine running
TS-4. Both machines are very solid. In spite of all the complaints on the
Yahoo QCharts list, I have very few problems. I start Dynastore on Sunday
afternoon, and it runs day and night until the following Saturday, when I
stop it, do a Scandisk, defrag, and a reboot.

Both of these machines do nothing else. The Dynastore machine runs QCharts
too, an old version which is very stable, but no email, Word, etc. I have
found that most of the problems with my trading machines have been caused by
trying to run other applications on the trading machines. Computers are
cheap enough so it makes sense for me to dedicate two machines to trading.

Anyone on the list using Dynastore and Windows 2000 successfully, without
any problems?
How about Dynastore for IQFeed and Windows 2000? I'm asking this because
after trying
to get help solving some problems I've had with Dynastore, DB ended up
telling me to
change the OS, basically implying that there was some compatibility problem
with the
two.
