Good News! I think...

The Kindest Technician there- Gregory Greggs, took my call on the first
ring.
When I explained my problem, he thinks that their software program, around
50 bucks-don't quote him-
because sales is gone for the day, called:
"9X multi screen manager"
just MiGHT do it...... He hooked me up to a 30 day free trial of the
software, and I have already downloaded it, so this weekend, when I set it
up and fire it up- we will see. It may be a Matrox limit- Matrox denied it
was them.(see the "have a nice day" letter from Matrox at the bottom of this
post) Matrox claimed it was an XP issue, but Gregory Gregg at 9XMEDIA said
that he has had up to 32 screens running on XP-PRO.
One note about Matrox. I bought 3 of their cards from NERDS.NET. (I am a
very satisfied customer- first time)
for around 700 or so (not 799 from matrox) One of them had a manufacturing
defect. It arrived with a chip that had fallen off of the card. Matrox was
NOT going to help me- I didn't buy it from them. They told me that the best
that they would do for me is give me a "REFURBISHED" card. Can you believe
that? That must be the socialist way, hee heee.
I will let everyone know how it all turns out after I get it set up this
weekend.
