Some time ago I spoke to a support lady of cqg. She told me that the
exchanges differentiate if they deliver data to brokers or to quote
vendors. Everyone who is directly involved in trading get the highest
priority. Quote vendors get the least priority. - I feel good with my IB
data feed. But I did not make any comparison with quote vendors so far.

I've noticed the same thing for months now comparing dtn sat, esignal on
dsl
and IB on dsl. IB TWS standalone is being run on a very old 400mhz
cpu(win2000) and TS2k is on a dual 933mhz. Your hardware is not the
problem! I returned the dtn sat after many years, now I am thinking
that
using IB feeding MSRT to GS/TS does quite well even though the IB data
is a
time snapshot, it certainly appears to work quite well. I've been told
by
some trading friends that some traders are using IB and Sierra Charts
and
Woodies CCI system and doing quite well.
