will TS2000i work with dual AMD Opteron processors or dual IntelXeon processors?

I am planning to configure a new workstation computer with either dual 
AMD Opteron CPUs, or dual Intel Xeon CPUs.

Does anybody on this list know if there is a problem using any of these 
CPU setups to run TS2000i or TS 7.2?

I seem to remember someone mentioning that TS 7.2 ran poorly with the 
AMD Athlon CPU.
