We all seem to expect different things as minimum from softwares.
For instance, i was very suprised to find that, while every other
product i know supports it, your WealthLab does not have indicators
that can update every tick. And to be honest, that is something I,
as a real time trader, find minimum of a real time software package
and was suprised to find that you, the developer of wealthLab
does not consider it as important and to much work to implement.
So we all find some things "minimum" to software... and sometimes
the developer just thinks otherwise. That's why, to give you a compliment
else my mail would be so cruel, like your product because you do
give trials so people "know" (if they are lucky to test everything out)
what they buy.

Yes, to bad that TS is not complete and we do need addons. But as
you probably know, no software is perfect. Therefore i am very happy
with the big support software developers are giving TradeStation.
Without them many would not be able to use TradeStation like we
do now. (to give an example, Metaserver, also from
www.traderssoft.com makes it possible to connect my datafeed
to TradeStation using DDE. great for people that do not know how
to program their own datafeed links)

Well, i think all developers do that.... Most often heard when a software
is hanging "did a reboot help". Like if i want to reboot all day !
So i am very happy third party developers do provide helping software
for TradeStation users. Atleast that way our initial investment is not
down the drain. And if additional software like portfolio software or
datafeed software can be obtained for a fair price, then i would think
that is very good. Better than having to need to get a programmer do
the work for me because not all of are so good in programming to
be able to program datafeed links and other helpfull software ourselfs.
and personaly i am convinced that no software program can even be
good at everything. If you try to be good at everything you have the
high risk of becoming average in all you want to accomplish... I rather
buy 5 different software's that are "outstanding" than one software
that does everything "average"
Unfortunatly TS is still the standard so personaly, as a TradeStation
2000i user for 5 years now, i am very happy that many people do
keep on providing addon's for TS2000i. Especialy if they are as
usefull as portfolio analyzers. I hope those developers keep up
the good work. That way we can keep on using TS2000i for a
few more years to come.
