Most likely the data you imported contained ticks only. TS2k
stores data in 1tick, 1min, 5min, and daily forms. It also does
a fairly bad job of combining the data if you don't have a full
set of all forms of data; for example if you have tick data for a
period but are missing some 5min data, a 30min chart will show
holes where the 5min is missing even though the tick data is
there.

Similarly, if you don't have any daily data, you can't display
daily bars. TS won't build the bar info from the tick/minute
data when you chart it. It also won't build daily-bar info when
you *import* the tick data, even though it WILL build 1min/5min
bars.

If you want to display daily bars, you can display 405min bars
for markets like SP. Unfortunately you can't extend that trick
to display weekly or monthly bars.
