Volatility lately has been much higher than normal --
which is great, but hard to say how long it will last.
And it's a slow period seasonally for indexes (it
won't get better before Labor Day).

A "handle" is the big figure, as in 105-, 106-. A
tick is the 32nd after the handle. So 1 tick =
$31.25, one handle/point = $1000.

Use a broker who will hold them on a server? I think
IB does this.
