I was so sick of the heat and noise from my computers that I threw them all
under the house in the cool basement.  The office has nothing but flat
panels, keyboard, mouse, on 100' KVM extenders, and a USB extender for
the CD drives, printer, etc.

The computers are happy with less dust and a steady cool basement
temp.  I'm happy because the office is no longer like an airplane
cabin.
